GeoSmaGriR – Software Platform

The com2m GmbH supports their customers, starting with the generation of ideas to initial concepts and implementation up to the operation and management of IoT cloud solutions. com2m solutions enable the establishment of new business models as well as the optimisation of processes and services. The basis for this is permanent availability of machine data, which is transmitted and evaluated. Customised Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) solutions make it easy to get started. Even with an increasing number of users and under high load, the stable operation of the application is guaranteed. In addition to the development of individual applications, com2m also offers operation as a cloud service.

The GeoSmaGriR project is accompanied by an affiliated SME project. The com2m contributes the expertise in the field of IoT, as well as their own IoT platform and supports the Dortmund University of Applied Sciences and Arts' Institute for the Digital Transformation of Application and Living Domains in the development of the GeoSmaGriR software platform. As part of the SME project, the IoT platform will be extended with application-specific functionalites to meet the requirements of the GeoSmaGriR software platform. The Smart Device Controllers (SDC) used in the project to record, collect and preprocess analogue and digital physical parameters in the mine thermal store and its ecosystem are mapped using a generic data model of the platform and the acquired data from the SDCs is captured in the IoT platform. Device Management allows you to manage device and connection information for the SDCs. The GeoSmaGriR software platform may query the collected data for analysis and for use in further services via the provided API. The User management with access control provides a secure dedicated access to the collected data and device information.
